No words written or spoken can ever express the loss Greg's family, friends, and brother & sister firefighters have suffered. He made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001. Greg was assigned to FDNY Squad 41, one of the first units on scene at the World Trade Center. Without hesitation, Greg and hundreds of his fellow firefighters rushed into the towers to save the lives of thousands. Less than an hour later, 343 members of the FDNY would perish during the collapse of the twin towers.
